I believe that there is no definite answer to this question b/c everyone has different experiences. When I was planning my wedding I was given an actual percentage, or told to plan on a little over half of the people you invite will show. WELL our families were excited about coming, and even though we invited 200 people, we had 180 show. So what is that percentage? Whatever. It depends on the families and the circumstances behind why they wouldn't make it in the first place (location, finances, closeness to the couple, etc.).

i would not sense offended if the marriage became held a on the same time as in the previous the reception. An hour or so would do. the form you wrote accompanied makes me ask your self whether the reception travelers are going to be waiting in a distinctive room on the same time as you have your intimate ceremony. (wedding ceremony at 5 reception at 5:15 good down the corridor) if it extremely is so, sure i'd be offended. then you've gotten the marriage interior the same room because of the fact the reception. Plus then you've got lots of time for photos of the on the spot kinfolk in the previous something of the centred visitor arrive. maximum suitable needs

Congratulations.
My wedding was this past September. We had a mere 250 guests at the reception. So we figured we'd print out around 200 wedding programs. Turns out, mostly family came to the actual ceremony (around 150).

Where I'm from, 100 per cent. The same people attend the ceremony as attend the reception.

In my family 90 to 95% of those attending the reception. Plus others who aren't invited to the reception.
As for the whole guest list - we invited 215 and had 150. We were killed by vacations and out of staters.

Ugh, I know most people here would say around 80% but my fiance and I have pretty big families so I'm probably looking at a 95%+ attendance.
If only 80% would rsvp that they were coming it would save me so much money, but I really want all 100% of them to be there!

It's typically around 90%. About 10% of the people you invite will decline for various reasons.
At our wedding we invited 150, we had 135 show up.

My wife has been a wedding planner for over 20 years. Her rule is expect 73% of those invivted. (Or about 3/4). She is usually within 2 people of with that estimate.

I think it depends on the size of the wedding. The larger you have, the less that will show.

We were told by our caterer that typically only 80% actually attend.
