It's supposed to be "proved" I guess. (Though in MS Word, "proven" is an acceptable word... But we must all bow before the Yamster's wisdom and refuse to use "proven.")

I've noticed the exact same thing. A lot of times the spell check on R&S and the spell check built into Firefox disagree. I always default on the side of Firefox.

Yahoo seems to prefer the option "proved"
