Probably not.
The skin of potatoes are not conducive to bacterial growth.
Now, if they were freshly dug then eaten, yes, you could probably expect a parastie of some sort to be transmitted, esp. if cats are in the area.

OK first the potato: raw potato isn't good for hamsters its poisonous. cooked isent. now the diarrhea: the most common cause of diarrhea in a hammy is a sudden change of diet or the feeding of too much soft foods. the droppings are watery, soft and light in color, and the hamster may be wet or messy around his bottom. A hammy with diarrhea should be given a dry diet only along with fresh water, if not recovered within a day or two, its wise to seek a vets advice because the diarrhea could be a symptom of something more serious. but since it was only a tiny bit they should be ok and the diarrhea should clear up. Good luck =]

Possibly not. But anything on the outside of the potato is now in her stomach. Bacteria from the soil, anything from he hands of the pickers and machinery transporting them. They do get somewhat of a washing, but who knows what was in that water.
What she did was not a good idea. A good scrubbing of the potatoes would have been a less risky two or three minutes well spent.

At least it was vegitable matter. I wouldn't be too concerned. I used to have a friend that loved them. I know ewwe but she was fine. by the way most of the time they wash them before they sell them. If you got them from someones garden well maybe i would be concerned.

It is possible, but not very probable. Either she'll get sick or she won't. You'll know soon enough.
