I spend $100 max, except for this year, we're doing one special expensive item. The budget includes all stocking & Santa gifts, and one from me (mom).
For my nieces, nephews, and little cousins, it's a $20 max budget, and for my kids friends, if necessary, it's $10 max. I try to focus more on choosing something they're really into, instead of something really flashy. For example, my niece would be much more impressed with a $6 board book with Pooh Bear on it than a $40 Fisher Price contraption that she can stomp on. So that's how we do it here. :)

I have a six year old and the budget for her since she was 3, has been $350, but now we have a new baby so the budget for the 6 year old has gone down to about 250-300, and the budget for the baby is 100, she is only going to be 3 months, so there is really not a whole lot to buy for her., and next year it will be around the same because I still have alot of toys left over from our eldest child, however, our children have 3 sets of grandparents, and 2 sets of great grandparents, so the difference next year will probably be 2 big presents for the each of them. our 6 year old is starting to get more into the electronical stuff like ipods and cameras, but I don't feel she is responisible enough yet to keep up with them as they should be, so that will most likely be on the list for next year.
our plan is since our children are 6 years apart, when the baby is 5, and the 6 year old is 11 we will begin taking trips instead as a sort of family christmas present, like disney world, grand canyon, etc.

We spend about 200 on our daughter every christmas. We usually buy a couple toys, not too many because kids never play with them all. We usually get a toy for now and a toy for later. Last year we got her a fairy princess castle with some accesories to go with it and a new bike. We also always buy a new jacket, slipper, pajamas, and a few clothes. We dont like to buy a whole lot because then they expect it.

it's been a tradition in our family to have a Christmas List or what we call a love letter to Santa. So the kids would write what they want from Santa on Christmas day. We do that so that it will not be hard for us to buy gifts for the kids and we just spent $50 each kids. And for your question would rather go for a bunch of toys.

Buy one big thing that's some what expensive and then you could buy a couple little things. What we do with our kids is buy one big gift and maybe a couple little cheap things so that they have more to open. We also buy a couple outfits or something so that they don't always think they have to toys or expensive things. It helps our kids learn some values and they are not spoiled buy any means but it makes them appreciate things alittle more.

We will spend about $100 to $150 on our oldest she is four years old. We are also taking her to Gatlinburg TN for the Christmas Parade. Our 4 month old I'm really not for sure because she has everything that she needs because I kept it all from having her big sister. I know that I will get some items to put out from Santa. They also have several family members that will buy them stuff for Christmas so by the time it is over they will get to much stuff.

My daughter is seven
This year she is asking for Ipod and camera
I just got her one on Disney shopping for 39.00
I got her a cheap mp3 player, that was 30% off, but an extra 20%. I think I paid 22 dollars, with is find
Most of what my child ask, are little things
The two big idea she wants, I got for under 50
So, many small
When she get older and she wants a real camera and an good ipod, she would get one for christmass and one for her birthday and small present
A ten year old, my want something, that a seven year old, you get cheap verison of.
I think it depends on what what the child wants
I know people who try to spend the same amount or same number Of presents on each each child
Bunch of toys over one big one a few others depends on what they asked.
For example, if the ask for a notebook, camera, ipod, tv, computer, a video game symtem, big ticket ideams, one with a few
Nothing that expense, many
I know some family, that get one big family gift, like a video game system, and few small ideas. That is if all want the

we normally buy one special 'toy' for each kiddo, then a few other things(coloring books, a new set of crayons, a new bouncey ball for the baby, etc...). Also, we make sure we have a little something set aside that isn't wrapped except for a big red bow- and that's from Santa! We don't spend an excess amount, whatever we have saved up. We have a big family so we know that the kids will be spoiled by their aunts/uncles/g'ma/g'pa. =)
=) My sons are 6 years and 17 months and hopefully my little girl will be around for Christmas- she's due December 17th.

I spend extra on their birthdays, even though what I spend is almost always a drop within the bucket in comparison to what different individuals spend. As for Christmas, my husband has plenty of nieces and nephews that I grow to be purchasing Christmas offers for alternatively of my possess children. The well factor approximately that's I can depart it as much as his sisters and dad and mom to shop for offers for my children, so crisis solved.
