Yes in that the tele-evangelists discovered many years ago the power of TV and the brainwashing effects it can have on the weak minded and weak willed.

Yes, the entertainment industry has its hand in religion just like nearly everything else, which is quite sad but to it is brainwashing people is well kind of misleading. Now it has been said on many occasions that religion by itself regardless of what it is, where it is based and who the supreme Holiness is, well by itself is mind manipulative. But I dought that the entertainment industry wants to be called the next Jesus/Hitler/Bush etc............. So I will say, NO. But remember, this is just my opinion!

What happens is what would happen a thousand years ago in the absence of a modern education in social psychology/philosophy. Where ever there is authority or power to inflict harm upon an other is where you may find mind formation of an unautonomous nature.

yes, but it's not just the entertainment inustry, everyone who gets public attention will usually use it to put forward their agenda. For the person that said they don't, how about the passion of the christ and other very very religious non-historical movies? It goes both ways though, people just propagate their interests whatever it is

its advocating all thats evil if anything? it teaches kids that sex is a commodity and as for respect, even kids parents dont know the meaning of the word
