Satan believes in God & he is not going to heaven.

It depends.

I cannot say to know what God's will is, but God knows what is in store for every person. We are taught by Scripture that those who worship false gods are doomed unless they repent, and false gods doesn't only mean a golden calf or a wooden totem pole. Money, sex, material items and such are also made into gods in our society. Anything you place above the God is making it into a god to be worshipped.

I don't want to say that the person who doesn't believe in God will go to Hell because I don't know. But demons and Satan do believe in God and they do reside in Hell and then in the Old Testament those who didn't believe in God or worshipped other gods were excluded from Heaven. Even though you're a 'good person' doesn't mean what you're doing is right. Albert Einstein was a good person, but the Atomic Bomb was a bad idea, he hated that what he came up with to help people was now being used to destroy people.

Then there's the murderer. Just because one may believe in God doesn't mean they're going to go to heaven, even those who call themselves Christians may not make it to heaven. Many people believe "Once saved, always saved" which means that no matter what they do as long as they have accepted Jesus as the Savior, they will still get into heaven.

If the murderer believes in God, but isn't repentant or remorseful of his sins, then no, that doesn't mean he will go to heaven. But if he repents, changes his ways (even if he's in prison for life) and truly desires God then yes, he may end up in Heaven.

God forgave all of mankind, not just some of mankind, but He also knows what's in our hearts, minds and soul, even if we may not. He knows if when we confess our sins if we are wholly sorry for them or not, and if we aren't, then we really aren't forgiven either.

So the age-old question of will a murderer get to heaven just because he believes in God vs. the good person who doesn't can only be answered by the Father. We can only speculate.

I'd nominate this as a Christian sip your favorite beverage question. I'd play along.

Yes given that the murder accepted Jesus and repented, even if it was at his last moment and they had just murdered massive amount of people, they would most likely go to heaven. The nice person without accepting Jesus, would go to hell. Remember the thief on the cross next to Jesus?

Potentially neither. The Bible says that even Satan believes in God...but he certainly hasn't given his life over to God.

The Bible also says that Jesus came to die for our sins. That means all sins of all people. If a murderer gave his life to Jesus, he would be forgiven.

Whether your "really nice person" will go to heaven or not is a matter for God to decide, not men. Heaven is defined as a place where you are always in the presence of God. If your friend does not want to be in the presence of God, he may well end up getting what he wants.

Religion is a very difficuilt topic to dicuss considerating each individual has their own belief and interpretations on their religion. I do not have an answer for you on the good person who doesn't believe in God. I do not think he would go to hell because he doesn't believe in God. The murderer will go to hell for sure.

A person who does all good deeds will definetly go to heaven......, this is the basic in any religion...., Any religion preaches the same to be good to others....,

It depends on the kind of sin he does..., if he repents on what he does may be he gets a chance but if hes not and kills people for no reason then he doesn't

Both, In my religion each reincarnation on Earth is a learning process. Obviously the murderer hasn't learned his lesson. Next visit he will probably be the victim. The believer will be an Atheist.

Neither... No one is good. This applies to all humans. If we don't fully and sincerely repent of our sins, accept Jesus Christ as Lord and savior, become born of the Holy Spirit of God, give our life over to the Word the Will and the Ways of God, (the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob), we shall not inherit the Kingdom of God. There is no other way.

Just because you believe in God doesnt make you saved.
you have to repent. key word repent. Just like Jesus said repent go and sin no more. It also tells in the Bible that Hell will be filled with good intentions.

Well, the Pope regularly visits prisons a blesses murderers and rapists...but then damns people who are gay to hell. The murderers and rapists had a choice in their actions, gays and lesbians do not. Go figure.

Jesus is the only subside for humans to get into heaven. It's sad that good people will not go to heaven but if God allowed it then he would be contradicting him being just.
