For me nothing beats fresh picked strawberries from the garden, along with whipped cream.

Usually just a tablespoon of maple syrup, but occasionally I'll put some blueberries on 'em with a tiny dollop of whipped cream.

Ustacould eat sour cream and strawberries on me waffles.
Now I have to go with just butter and corn syrup. Don't get to have strawberries much anymore.
Do you preffer soft or crisp waffles?

I love to put warmed up Apricot jam with a little bit of water added on to my waffles. Raspberry and strawberry jam prepped the same way is also delicious.

I love strawberries, too. However, I recently tried the following:
sliced bananas sauteed with maple syrup, brown sugar and cinnamon. Pour on top of waffles to taste. DELICIOUS!!!

peaches with heavy cream, about 1 1/2 ounces. Doesn't sound like much, but it is one of those flavor blends that is magic to my taste buds. like popcorn and milkduds.
