Hello! I wonder if anyone can help me with a Mac query. Apologies if this is something really obvious, but I am not experienced with Macs at all. It's my boyfriend's Powerbook I'm having a problem with. A lot of websites (such as Youtube, etc) are saying we no longer have the right Flash plug-in. Until recently we had no problem watching things on Youtube etc but now the same message comes up in both Safari and Internet Explorer: "Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player". I have downloaded and installed the Flash update several times but it still doesn't seem to be working. When I go to the site again I get the same message. I have checked and JavaScript is turned on. Can anyone help? Thanking you in advance...

Open Disk Utility. Choose the First Aid tab. Select the hard drive icon on the left. Choose to repair permissions. When that is finished (could take up to 10 minutes if you have a huge number of files), quit Disk Utility, reinstall Flash Player.
