Check the software that came with your scanner and see if you have a program called OCR (object character recognition). It will scan your document so that it can be edited. OCR is not perfect, but it does work.

usually it comes with the scanner
maybe check on your scanner website
usually the scanner has a text recognition software that will trck every word and the you any change any of them
maybe also a second way would be to buy the software but i really suggest to verify with tha compagny web site
MAYBE also your scanner does not support text recognition
and maybe also there might be a software that after scanning wil recognize text

You might try something such as FineReader Pro. You can download a trial version of the software. It is fully functional for 15 days. The download file size is approximately 120MB; therefore, having a broadband connection to the internet is highly suggested.

even as a jpep your photo software should allow you to add text. just click edit and look for "add text" it should put a box up that you can adjust to size and move to where you want it.
