Heres the deal, ive been attracted to a friend of mine for a little while now but she has a boyfriend and despite him not being the best guy in the world, it seems unlikely for anything to end there. She doesn't know about my attraction for her and recently i've also become somewhat interested in her younger sister, who is one year younger than us and i get on really well with.
Ive recently broken up with a girl i've been with for a fair while and dont know whether i should ask my friends sister out or not, if i do i think i would probably make sure my friends ok with it first but im a bit perplexed on this one.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

If you truly like the sister and think you could make a go of it, by all means, go for it.

I see it this way, you're respectful enough to know that the older one has a commitment and won't interfere...major kudos to you for this. Also, you're willing to take a chance on someone else (although she is the sister but I just don't have a problem with this), this is great. Lastly, you have enough respect to make sure the older one is cool with this, you are quite the considerate fella.

Don't tell your "friend" what people really think of her. Do you really want to stoop down the her level? Instead of telling her, write what you would tell her in a journal where NO ONE besides you can read it. A way to solve the problem is taking the bus you want to take and letting your little sister ride with your "friend". If your parents want you two to ride the same bus, here is something you could do. Lets say bus A is the bus you want to ride and bus B is the bus that your sister wants to ride. Ask your parents if they could make a rule saying that you BOTH have to ride bus A Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. And then on Tuesdays and Thursdays, you both would ride bus B.

Depends on whether you are looking at the little sister as a 'second best' or not. If so, and you secretly really fancy the older one, do the younger girl a favour and don't go there at all. Ask the big sister out instead so that she'll know you like her and might be willing to dump the boyfriend in favour of you. However.....if you really, truly like the little sister for herself then ask her out. There's no baggage attached to her. You don't need to ask the big girl's permission to do this although it might be polite to mention what you intend to her. She's not her little sister's keeper. Decide who you like best and go for it.
