The ACLU has just sued the federal government to ban Christmas as a federal holiday, one plantiff recently tried to burn down a Church.
Makes me want to go out and donate to the ACLU, how about you?

I would never donate to the ACLU, and a ruling 20 years ago by the Supreme court said that a long established holiday were part of the American culture and therefore didnot violate
"seperation of Church and State" (which isn't in the Constitution)

LOL.

I'll bet Fox News is reporting that as though it were true, aren't they? Worse, I'll bet more than half the people reading about it believe that it's true.

The ACLU has done a lot of stupid things but this is not one of them yet. I have a direct email link to the conservative law firms that oppose just about everything the ACLU does and they have not yet sent me anything about this. If the ACLU had actually filed such an inflamatory piece, I would have heard about it by now.

I don't dislike them completely. Some times they have a good point. I don't give them money though. When I donate it goes to those that truly need it like children with cancer. However, I would have to disagree whole heartedly with this one. All that would happen anyways is Christians calling in sick for the holidays. They make stupid rules and we come up with new ways to get around those rules.

I support it totally. The title of the day should be Celebration Day or respelled Krismas to encompass all faiths with a special day around that time and others simply celebrating winter, Santa and family.

You do, of course, realize that was a satire news story written by John Bambenek?
