When, not if but when, you got caught then you would face additional charges. You also would appear guilty to any jury that you face.

First, you can technically have felony charges even if you are a minor. You can even be tried as an adult in most states. The charge for interstate flight to avoid prosecution can be worse than the original crime in some cases. It is a federal crime. Once you miss your court date a bench warrant will be issued for your arrest.

Second, you don't have to return to the state where you committed the crimes to have an issue. Your information will go in nation wide crime databases and if you EVER have contact with the police you will be arrested and returned to the state where the crimes occurred.

Additionally, even if the state decides to try the original crimes in juvenile court, the interstate flight to avoid prosecution would result in adult charges if you were captured after your 18th birthday.

Many jobs require a background check, you will not be hired for any of those while charges are pending.

Basically,l running is a great way to ruin your life. Deal with this now.

Once charges were filed, you would be considered a fugitive. You will eventually be caught, not if. The state will issue a warrant for your arrest. Then anytime you are caught for a minor driving infraction, it will show up. Do the smart thing, stay and face the music, Once it is done you can go ahead with your life and not live in fear. Running away means, leaving your family, friends and your entire life as you know it. Are you prepared to do that? Stay where you are and show society you are willing to pay for your laps in judgment.

bench warrant is issued for your arrest -- failure to appear in court, or unlawful flight to avoid prosecution, or similar.

once it gets into the systems, it'll follow you everywhere in the country and maybe overseas as well. If you're brought in by any police dep't. anywhere, rest assured that it'll be discovered and brought up.

btw, statue of limitations does not run after you're been cited into court if you bug out. So they can get you even if you're 87 when they find you.

in some states, if you're over 18 when found, your case will automatically be transferred to adult court as well. The law assumes that you made a knowing decision to continue hiding on the day after your 18th birthday -- which is an adult offense.

If they catch you in another state it's commonly referred to as "extradition" and the charges against you could be greater once you are transported back.

You would be a fugitive. You would probably be caught with something a simple as a traffic ticket.
