Well if we can all agree that the world was not created in 7 days but rather 4 billion, and that the first two people were probably not Adam and Eve, and that the whole Tree of Knowledge and the Garden of Eden thing was all probably just a made up story.

If we can all agree on that, then allow me to take it a step further and also dismiss 'original sin' and all that it entails and in turn dismiss Jesus Christ as a redeemer and savior. Wasn't one of Jesus Christ's whole purposes on this Earth to make up for Adam's mistake in the Garden of Eden? Well if Adam and the apple didn’t really exist, than all of the significance placed on Jesus Christ is inappropriate and he was simply just a powerful and influential teacher, not a god.

Did I go to far or does this make so much sense you’re surprised no one else has thought of it?

TIME FOR DAY SEVEN IS GIVEN AND ALL DAYS ARE ONE DAY

This is one area that [ I guess it is taboo, bible time and so neglected, how that can be, I do no know ], I do not neglect to learn the bible time, it is there for me and I am going to know it, my bible would not make one ounce of sense if I did not know the past time as same as I know my time each day.

Heb.4:1-12; Day seven has not ended yet, Satan has 6130 from Eden, 6073
has passed / is passing, Jesus has Rev.20:1-6,12,13; 1000, so 130 years belongs to day six Gen.1:26; Gen.2:2,4; All Days will be one day and 7 x 7000 is 49,000 [ in 1057 years it will be 49,000 ]. This is only preparation time.

The ages and ages old earth was prepared ages Job 38:4-7,30-32 [ space ];
Gen.1:3-25 [ plant life day and years is in day four is same for man ], God's time was already at day four. God's Day means ages, era, eon or a span of time that continues.

Eph.2:7; 3:21; the world with Jesus is without end [ Matt.24:3 [ the end of the world, no dying, no Satan, no killing, no funeral homes and the list goes on ], 7 [ after major wars as WW1 & WW2 ], 14 [ the whole world is to know the good news of the kingdom of Jesus is at his second coming to rule, and make all things as new as before Eden, no more Satan ]; The bible has been in circulation 396 years at 2007 after Christ, it began 3560 years ago, at year 2513.

Hello,

Yes. The writings of the bible were initially started for a semi-nomadic group of people who struggled to live a day by day existence so they had no time to contemplate their navels, let alone understand the mechanics of the universe.

Stories were told as allegories to give people a simpler understanding of the world and universe around them.
Much knowledge would be required and not appear for a few thousand more years in so far as science was concerned.
That said, how the Earth came to be is the same process that science and evolutionists believe. The main difference is we do not no what a day means in God's concept of time and the early Jewish people would not have had concepts of millions or billions.

To me this whole debate is a total waste of time. For those who accept eternal security, believe what you like and say Kermit the frog created the world since you are saved anyway. For the majority, we would be wise to remember that when we face the Lord he will be asking us questions such as did you forgive your brother and neighbor, feed me when I was hungry, visit me in prison or when I was sick, cloth me when I was naked; NOT is the earth 6000 or 4.5 billion years old; did I actually make man from a hunk of clay or was it in my plan to start with very basic organisms and let them evolve and was earth created 6400 years ago at 06:54 hours EST or MT?

Cheers

Science can't explain everything. The days back then were probably millions of years for each day. Who knows? People didn't invent the calendar until way later. God created the world in 6 and rested on the 7th day. The first two people WERE Adam and Eve. The Garden of Eden is true. YOU just can't believe it. We were banished from the Garden of Eden due to them eating the forbidden fruit. Therefore, we never SEEN the Garden of Eden because we were banished. If they didn't eat the fruit, we would probably be in the Garden of Eden right now.

You went too far...

No... there are still people that view the world passing by throught the windows of the short-bus. Once we get those people off the short-bus, we'll all be able to agree on this. Until then, they'll still be screaming at anyone that happens by that the world was made in 7 days, approximately 6000 years ago, by an invisible man in the sky who doesn't like people that don't ride the short-bus with them.

you must not get in here enough friend! your question is just phrased differently is all.. i seen soooo many just like it .. still athiests argue this they cant see. why? are their eyes open to see??
sems to me if u ignore creation u deny your own existance , inteligence ?? what is that some christians themselves are just like pagans and athiests! / WHAT??????
HOW DARE I SAY THIS?? DEUTORONOMY 4;2. LEVITICUS 26;41 stubbornness is not; or not supposed to amonng GOD;s people but OFTEN THEYbe the ONES SOOO STUBBORN that chastisements dont work. . is it an excuse to use well i heard this and have believed it so it must be so ,, or my pastor says this or this tv evangelist staes its true,
so0rry but GODS word alone is to be studied for yourself and not listening to just what others says, can u not see that if it contradicts in one part of the bible something is wrong?? can one prophet say 1 thing in one of his chapters but in the same book change his mind?? kinda of silly isnt it if he does??
look and cross refrence what u believe is true just as the bereans did when paul taught ,, they said to those who came from thesslonia we ourself will decide by what we read not what you say . . be noble folks just because u have not heard or seen truth presented in a certain way doesnt mean its error check it out fully yourself with some others that be honest in their desires!

I just want to mention that the 'each day represents millions of years' theory doesn't hold up. The order is wrong-the earth certainly couldn't exist without the sun and moon.

Proud of your mental machinations and wisdom are you. I quote; ' ... for it is written, 'I will destroy the wisdom of the wise and the cleverness of the clever I will set aside. Where is the wise man? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?(1Corinthians 1:18 -20).

They weren't 6 literal 24-hour days. Each "day" was actually thousands of years or more. God is eternal, so even a billion years would be like a day for Him.

Instead of trying to dismiss the whole Bible because of something you can't grasp, maybe you should try and understand what God meant when He said certain things. :)

I do not have a problem with that theory. All religions have a Creation story which is just mankind's way of trying to explain it.
