Bizzymom gave you the site. I just want to add a little antidote. On a trip to Bolivia a few years ago we had corn on the cob with those gigantic kernels. They do not taste like sweet corn. As a mater of fact they have no taste at all.

it's a kernel of corn that is fried. You would think that it would just become popcorn but actually it poofs up just like rice krispies. It doesn't turn into popcorn because the structure of the kernals are different.

It's corn, dried, and roasted with oil and salt so it tastes hard and nutty. (actually, I think they taste like fritos).
