Hi not really as black is really hard to get rid of speaking from experiance, the best thing for you to do is let it grow out, but thats not always easy as I hate having fading odd hair colour lol.
I have never tried washing up liquid, but I do know Pantene Ice Shine Shampoo Works brilliantly this is what i used to make mine fade out, just use it twice every wash and you will notice the difference from first use.
The only other thing I suggest is to prelighten it which is what I did in the end, I wish I didnt as now I have an dark red colour, but I didnt want to bleach it as it wrecks the hair and I have just got it into good conditon.
If in the future you are planning on dyeing your hair I now recommend to us semis as they are easier to get rid off and last just as long so in the long run there better for you and dont damamge the hair half as much.

Hairdressers generally say that you need to have the colour stripped out which seems to mean giving it a "bleach bath", which should only be done by professionals. They then colour your hair back to it's natural colour so the regrowth should match. That washing up liquid cannot be doing your hair much good. Personally I find the best way of fading colour is to use a GHD straightener regularly. I find this strips out all colour quite quickly!

I really wouldn't use washing-up liquid on your hair! It's basically a de-greaser (for washing greasy dishes!) so it will strip your hair of its natural oils as well as the dye.
Head & Shoulders is one of the better shampoos for fading hair dye quicker - and at least it is a shampoo!!
The only way to get this black dye out any quicker is to bleach it out then dye back to your original hair colour to match the re-growth. As we all know, bleach isn't great for your hair so a good salon will use the minimum required and will concentrate on the more stubborn remaining black.

Im a red head and dyed my hair black, i used to dye it black reugarly as my hair grows pretty quickly so i was constantly having to do the roots. Finally got sick of it and wanted my natural hair colour back so went to the salon to get my stripped. I spent £110 and 5 hours in there and came out of the salon with my hair exactly the same as i went in. :( Waste of time and money. Only thing u can really do is wait for it to grow out, as annoying is it is, im still waiting lol If you find a solution, let me know!!

Semi permament colorations are good to apply like loopy shade and directions, this variety of dye isn't unfavorable you could placed it on as much as you pick. It does not contrain any peroxid. If ur hair is allready broken i might sugest utilising a conditionin therapy, which contain nioxen this might restoration ur hair.

Dandruff shampoo shifts colour well as does chlorine removing shampoo. If you want to go back to your natural colour though you will just have to be patient.
