Atonement is the reconciliation of the spiritual relationship between God and His creation, mankind, repairing the broken spiritual bond through the fall of Adam, but fulfilled by the redemptive power of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Thank you Jesus for your shed blood!

Atonement is generally defined as establishing ONEment, meaning "be in harmony".

Atonement is specifically an act of making amends for sin, making up for wrongdoing, or paying for a crime.

Christian "Atonement" is the reconciliation of God and man through the sufferings and death of our Saviour, for OUR sins!!!
