I wish I had the skills to be able to tell the difference between Gods direct revelations and my own thoughts! I have so much respect and love for you Kibye!

I do believe in the direct revelation from God each day. Look around you. The world and the people and animals in it didn't just magically appear. This would be a better question for a left wing Liberal Democrat.

My cell phone has yet to ring with my daily dose of revelation. It's early, though, so I guess I shouldn't be too upset. It depends on what time zone God operates in.

Traditional protestant doctrine claims that the heavens and most especially the scriptures are closed. That is one of the many reasons that dogmatic traditional Christians think Mormons are not traditional Christians.

Because the Bible virtually states that there would come a time when they would all cease. Today, we have the complete Word of God and therefore no further need for visions, prophesies etc.,
