I purchased the BodyTech tech x mass weight gainer yesterday (the powder- four scoops in 16 ounces- about 820 calories in milk)

Could I get input on the effectiveness of this and how many times it should be taken daily?

I am trying to put on about 20 pounds... and ideas how long it may take?

P.S. I am a girl and have no time to exercise right now (I used to be really athletic and I am trying to get back to that weight)

Why are you trying to put on 20 lbs? And what type of weight are you trying to add. Alot of that stuff just makes you gain water weight and doesn't provide any health benefit. You could just gain it in fat, which is probably not what you want.

What you need to do is gain muscle. Working out, not cardio, but weights will add muscle and tone. You said you used to be athletic and that is the body you are trying to get back to.

Taking any sort of supplement is unlikely to help, especially in such a high dosage. If you want to take a little bit to help build the muscle quicker, ok. But you gotta do some work to get to where you want to be.

Otherwise, if you just want to gain weight, you might as well eat donuts for every meal.
