I am sure I have heard of it but is there any verse in the bible warning that if people change the script or text, etc they will be cursed,etc

18I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. 19And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book

Revelation 22:18-19 and it is refering to changing the meaning. Obviously when it is written in another language you need to be able to read what it says.

It's in the end of the Apocalypse or Revelation of St John.
That would apply to Luther the father of Protestantism since he actually inserted the word "alone" in front of faith in Romans.
