not sure about the veggie dip but there is no purpose to be on a low fat diet. low fat diets where the total daily fat intak is less than 20% of the daily cals are counter-productive to fat loss. when the dietary fat intake falls below 20% this can cause as much as a 40% decrease in testosterone production in women. this will further decrease the metabolic rate making fat loss even harder and over time can cause a decrease in muscle mass further decreasing the metabolic rate making future increases in body fat much easier even at a reduced caloric intake.

I would try some onion soup mix or ranch dip mix. I've successfully used FF plain yogurt as a substitute for sour cream, but it's a little softer.
