Sony Ps3 Hong kong??

I was thinking of buying a ps3 off ebay from a hong kong seller there feedbact is great so there is no question of authenticity!! What is was wondering was how well suited to use in ireland or the uk would it be with regards to gaming blue ray discs etc??

PS3 games are region free, but movies and PS1/2 games aren't. Hong Kong is NTSC region, while Ireland is PAL. Also check the voltage, you might nee to buy a power converter (get a good, heavy 500W).
