If you do, is this why you believe in God? If you don't and there is a God to answer to, do you think you have lived honestly enough that God would overlook your disbelief?

I believe I will answer to God for both what I believed and how I lived my life, and because I have been given much, I will be held to a higher standard. But I will answer to a God who, while just, knows my weaknesses and failings, and in justice, takes that into account.

I think he hold's us responsible now, for our actions - not when we die.
Since “there is not another name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must get saved,” the seeker for life must follow Christ. (Ac 4:12) Jesus showed that a person must be conscious of his spiritual need; he must hunger and thirst for righteousness. (Mt 5:3, 6) Not only must he hear the good news but he must exercise faith in Jesus Christ and through him call on the name of Jehovah. (Ro 10:13-15) Following Jesus’ example, he will be baptized in water. (Mt 3:13-15; Eph 4:5) He must then keep on seeking the Kingdom and Almighty God's righteousness.—Mt 6:33.

Any one at all who believes in the Lord Jesus Christ has been justified from all things and declared "not guilty" by God. There will be two judgments; one for the believers where the Lord will determine their rewards and the other will be for the unbelievers where the Lord will determine their degree of punishment. You need have no fear if you believe in jesus as the Bible states in Ephesians 4:30 that when you believe, you "are sealed with the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption"

NO fear! There are nearly 7 million of us who pray to him daily and are busy doing his work. To us a natural death is the end of pain and suffering to which Satan has had power over our bodies, but not our beliefs.
To us, we will awaken healed of our infirmities and will be able to worship our King as we wish we could right now.

Nope.
Besides, few Christians teach that having "lived honestly" matters under those circumstances.
I don't have to ask myself "what if" any more than, say, a Christian has to ask themselves "what if Zeus is the real God?"

I know I will have to answer to God when I die and no I don't look forward to some of the things I have done but I know I'm forgiven due to repentance.

No I don't and, assuming for a moment that I was wrong,I would not want him to "overlook my disbelief".
The biblical god,if he existed, would be an evil and malevolent tyrant with a hugh inferiority complex.
Why would I wish to spend eternity worshipping a monster like that.

I know I will have to answer, I am not afraid. I believe in God because He loves me and shows me His love in all that He does for me. It does not matter how honest you are if you do not believe according to the Bible.
