they are working to change CHRISTMAS
ACLU
125 Broad Street
18th Floor
New York , NY 10004
if enough people send Christmas cards they will be spending time opening the cards and maybe that would leave them less time to work on changing Christmas. they will have to open all the cards because they couldn't take a chance of throwing away money that might be in them.
as for those of you who say they will just hire more people to open the extra cards. That would be good too we could help fight to keep Christmas and help someone get a job as well (two birds with one card)

you can also go to their web site at the bottom of the page you can click on (your local ACLU) to get the address of your local ACLU we should send cards to the main headquarters and to our local ACLU offices as well. this is something that we can all do:-)

so what do you think is it a good idea?

This will be my third year sending Christmas cards to the ACLU. More people should. Oh and please make sure you say Merry Christmas instead of just the generic Happy Holidays. Mention the names of other holidays too if you wish, just don't leave Christmas out! The ACLU will not get rid of my freedom of speech or religion. In February, we still say Happy Valentine's Day and I'm sure some people say Happy President's Day, Happy Groundhog Day, George Washington's B-day, Abe Lincoln's B-day, Black History Month, American History Month...no one combines it to Happy Holidays or Happy History to Everyone Month! Let's not upset the other animals on Groundhog Day so maybe we should start calling it Mammal Day or just to be safe All Creatures of The Earth Day.

God Bless.

thrilling how the Christians are all out advertising this vandalism/extortion this month. It rather shows their actual colours. We atheists do not even would desire to declare something. You human beings doom your own cult to obsoletion every time you open your mouths. Edit - to the guy under... you needless to say are not familiar with what this poster is suggesting. that may not a "get better" message. there's a Christian marketing campaign ideal now, attempting to get Christians to flood the ACLU with Christmas playing cards, so their mail would be disrupted, and their operations will close down, as they attempt to handle donations amidst the Christmas card clutter. it extremely is vandalism/extortion. (elect whichever notice you like) As for the ACLU boycotting merchants... i've got faith you have that backwards. The ACLU would not boycott. They foyer. regardless of the shown fact that, the Christian ideal boycotts any shop that has an analogous opinion with them. in addition they boycott any company that helps gay rights, and so forth. (Ford and Wal Mart are their maximum cutting-edge targets.) the gang "concentration on the relatives" spearheads those issues. I also have a psycho-Christian in the subsequent cubicle that reads me all of their nonsense a week...

No, it's really not a good idea.

There's a rumor going around that the ACLU initiated a lawsuit, trying to take Xmas off the list of national holidays. There's another rumor that they had something to do with Walmart's short-lived policy of saying "Happy Holidays." Both are complete rubbish. You can check the ACLU website. If you don't believe them, check --

The ACLU protects all our rights, Christians included.

I'll send them some cash to hire a card opener. Hallmark loves your idea though.

You are buying into Fox New's ratings grab.

No one is trying to take the Christ out of Christmas, you guys did that yourselves while adopting Christmas trees, yule logs and Mistletoe into your tradition, celebrating it on the winter solstace and then claiming it was the day Christ was born, even though shepards would never be in the fields of Jerusalem during the month of December.

I would rather send them an Happy New Year Card, with some kid holding an Uzi in school, and share that with my friends of the NRA.

The ACLU is forging ahead with destroying individual rights. There's power and money to be gained from this cause and there's no stopping them.
