She is just over a year old and has had her second heat. She never had puppies. She is not fixed yet. Suddenly she is carrying around a small toy and crying all the time. She will not let the toy out of her sight. She snuggles with it and sleeps with it. The vet said there is nothing physically wrong with her. Is this normal and will it pass?

She's having a false pregnancy, and once b!tches start having them, she'll likely have more. There are drugs your vet can prescribe that will help, but it only makes sense to have her spayed rather than having to continue going through this. It's hard on her.

She is having a false pregnancy. She is treating the toy like it is a puppy. It is common with unspayed females and it will eventually pass.

I am sure she about to come into heat.
Call the vet asap and set her up an appointment. Theres no reason whyshe should not be fixed.

animals can have phgantom pregnancies. Wether this might be a spin of this i don't know but perhaps you should do a little research on this. if it is then it will pass fairly shortly...

its a phantom pregnancy,keep her occupied ,lots of walks and games,had this with my irish setter
