How do you interpret the signs?!?

Question

I wanted to see signs telling me which direction to go for a long time. Couldnt see any. Typically, I stopped looking and now there are signs everywhere!! But i dont know how to make sense of them. Its too long a story to explain the signs, but if anyone else is a follower, can you tell me how to interpret so they point somewhere?!

Sorry, i tried without having to go through the whole story! Basically, i read a book called The Witch Of Portobello. It was amazing, and since ive finished it, all the signs are refering back to it! It was all about the Goddess and signs and development. My signs all point back to the book, but i have no idea why!!! Im just a bit lost i think!

Once again, i am reluctant to say what each of the signs are. I know what the signs are and that they are meant for me...i just wondered how everyone interprets their own signs - do you take them literally or what do you do with them? It shouldnt matter what my actual signs are!!

hmm I am seeing signs too. And they are all telling me i am confused by your question.

What signs exactly are you on about? If you came here wanting answers about how to interpret some signs, you could at least have said what those signs were.

Hmm how do you do it eh? OK. Well with me something will just suddenly speak to me and I will be given a message. Sometimes that will be words, sometimes it will just be a feeling. The hardest thing to learn is to trust yourself and your feelings. It sounds like this is your problem more than actually interpreting the signs themselves. If you are new to witchcraft or paganism it can be a little strange at first when these things happen. You do get better at understanding them or just more open to receive them as you go on. Signs are not for every one.

For example, Paul Revere.

Only Paul Revere knew what the lights in the tower meant.

Others would just notice a light in the tower, not knowing the meaning of the sign.

Here is a better example.

The subject determines whether it means tempest or earthquake.

Follower of what? If you're looking for Christian signs, the New Testament has plenty of clues.
