I have just started a new job and I have to write lots of book names (hundreds of books) down in a short period of time and I am a very slow writer.

How can I be really fast at writing without my hand aching?

Yeah, why can't you type it ? You must have a weird job if they won't let you type large amounts of documents like that. Mention using a computer to your boss; hopefully he'll realize that the Colonial days are over.

You could try abreviating the words and then later when you stuck for something to do, write them out properly.
Hope this helps.
