I mean the bible states that it does not contain even one contradiction, however it does, so it is not infallible. If it is not infallible, then when god that claims it is, he must be wrong. If god is wrong, then he cannot always be right. If by definition god must always be right but is not, then god must not exist.
What do you think?

The bible is the infallible word of god, except for the bits that are not and are allegorical.
Your preacher is there to tell you which bits are which. It is a shame that the vicar and the priest and the monk and the preacher can not agree over which bits are what.
Apologetics is the art of explaining why the bible is deeper than it appears and why a god that kills millions of people and billions of animals really does love all of them, while sending most off to an eternal torment with no hope of redemption.

People only believe in the Bible because they are afraid. This is why Faith is mentioned more in the Bible than Love. The writers wanted people to just believe... This is why the writers scare people with the idea of hell. I believe in love and being good to one another. I don't need the Bible for that. Or a threat of hell. And I am not going to just believe blindly in a book just because it was written. LOL Not all literature is true. As a matter of fact, most of it isn't true. You can't believe everything you read and see. We all have a responsibilitiy to do our research. Back when the Bible was written government needed aid to "control the masses"... something to help keep people under control besides the laws... something for people to believe in.... so some Important people got together and decided to scam the masses with a biblical story that isn't so far off from other religious literature that was already written. All I am saying is people should learn to think for themselves. Love is important with or without a belief in god or any god.... why are people so scared of an afterlife? What have they done that is so wrong that they need to be so scared?

The Bible doesn't contain the claim it doesn't contain a contradiction - the Bible didn't exist when the books in it were still being written, ergo it physically cannot refer to itself. Additionally, there is a distcintion between the Bible in God that disappears during your question.
If I wanted to argue God didn't exist using the Bible I would point out 2 Kings 22. According to it, before the year 650 BC, during the reign of King Josiah, no one had ever heard of the Torah or the Jewish Law. It was at this time that the Yahweh cult hijacked power and destroyed all the other Jewish religions. All the previous books were edited to re-write the history of Judaism from the perspective of the Yahweh cult. Remnants remain, like in the Creation stories where God is sometimes called El, who was a competing God married to Asherah and father of Baal, false God of apostate Israelites.
So, from the outsider's perspective, the story of God is based on the assertions of this rabid, bloodthirsty, violent fundamentalists. If we will assert that killing innocent people for having different beliefs is wrong - and I think we have to if Osama bin Laden is to remain evil in our minds! - then they were evil people. The likelihood, then, of their being right is virtually nil.
I'm a Christian, by the way.

Burden of evidence. No, the burden of evidence is on people who say there's a great-being. without evidence for their declare, and no reason to have faith it, people who don't have faith it do no longer would desire to coach something. you may no longer coach that there's no longer a pink unicorn orbiting the sunlight between Jupiter and Saturn. the burden is on me to furnish some reason to think of there is. i do no longer attempt to disprove god; I in basic terms keep asking what reason or evidence there is to think of there is one among those difficulty. And while human beings make fake claims approximately evolution, i attempt to describe what it truthfully is (nonetheless i think of this could be a separate difficulty). you may no longer coach the nonexistence of a non-existent being; it extremely isn't how evidence works. Dawkins would not think of there is a few piece of evidence accessible that disproves god's existence; he knows the character of evidence extra applicable than that. He argues based on the unreasonableness of concept in god. Edit: in case you have on no account heard of the Flying Spagheti Monster, attempt typing the word into your widespread seek engine. it is an decision to god concept up by applying a mind-blowing nut who became combating the coaching of theology in technological awareness instructions. in order that which you recognize what human beings are touching on.

You mean looking at the idea of an empty tomb in a Jerusalem, Israel Cemetery and concluding since the tomb is empty, the resident there has absolutely, positively risen from the dead: there are no other possible explanations of it?
No, don't think that argument has ever been used.
The Bible is too well-written to raise any doubts for those who believe in blind faith.

Seems like you are not convinced that GOD exists!
Obviously, you are trying to understand the Bible in a literal context from your experience within a modern day framework. This won't work.
Your reference and linear perspective of
A=False + B=False = C=False thinking is all wrong.
You've been listening to too many conspiracy theorist!
Do you really want to know if GOD is real!
Try this.
Stick your finger in an electrical socket.
Record your findings!
I'll bet you will thank GOD that you are still alive!!!

With enough research, this is when we discover where we have either made a mistake, or gained that vital piece of information so we understand something which otherwise would be considered a contradiction.
The accusation of contradiction is an old one, always coming from people that either have not learned, misapplied something, removed something from context, re-defined something to suit their end, even plainly refuse to look to see where they went wrong in their studies.
Obviously we are the ones that misunderstand. The Bible is pure for doctrine.

I did. Using extrabiblical sources for comparative study, I came to the conclusion that there were aliens mistaken as gods. But, when I came to the New Testament part and did subjective studies of the Christian religion, I started to feel the life-changing power of the Holy Spirit. The Hebrew term elohim comes from theAkkadian ilu, meaning "lofty ones". These were in turn called dingir ("righteous ones of the rocketships") by the ancient Sumerians. Edin was the "place of the righteous ones".

German Higher Criticism over the last couple hundred years has aimed to naturalize the Bible in purely human terms. So many scholars, even today, would claim the Bible is merely a collection of fables that do not actually offer any "evidence" of God's existence.
See GEDP theory.

I have a 'Chilton's' reference book, for my car. I have found several contradictions, but I still use it.
When I realized there was no 'infallible' book on automechanics, I decided to build my own car ( I'm still working on that, it's an itelligent design problem at present ).
But, until I've built my own 'perfect' auto, I'll still use the 'Chilton' guide. Occasionally, I check for updates...
