Jehovah's Witnesses typically refer to a booklet entitled "Examining the Scriptures Daily" to review a particular biblical thought for each day. On November 19, 2007, the selected verse was:
"Your works are wonderful, as my soul is very well aware."—Ps. 139:14.
That verse has an obvious connotation toward creation in general, but a typical Jehovah's Witness would also recognize the wonder behind such more profound "works" as those involving God's universal sovereignty, the truth about the condition of the dead, and about the true hope for humankind. In addition, a true Christian likely appreciates the fact that humans were created in God's image and so we can aspire to imitate God's perfect personal qualities, such as forgiveness, love, and mercy.

Very good text, indeed. It reminded me of the basic Bible truths taught in the Bible Teach book. I liked the part about being involved in the issue of sovereignty. That's a good point for all of us to remember because we're each involved as individuals and can help prove the devil the liar that he is (Proverbs 27:11).

I like the part about Christendom not agreeing on what the bible teaches. You see the many different explanations (none of them making any sense), when issues like the trinity, Jesus vs God, and hell are discussed.
