What do you think the best kind of portable DVD player is?

I think that Panasonic and Sony players are the best. If you are going to actually use it as a portable player, look for long battery life and a sharp, bright picture. Some models even allow you to get an extra battery and change it.

I would look for both JPEG picture viewing and DIVX movie capability only if you make disks on your comptuter.
