I am looking to buy my husband a GPS for his car this christmas. There are so many to choose from. He needs a GPS to travel around the state of Florida. He works everywhere in Florida and he is always getting lost and calling me for directions. I really don't know the difference between all of the GPS units I am looking at. I just want something that will give him detailed instructions to get him from point A to point B. Thanks!

I've used a few of these and most are not very easy to use.

My friend has a Garmin Nuvi Widescreen that has a touch screen interface and it is really easy to use - it actually works a lot like Mapquest on the web. You can just put in an address and it will give directions from where you are. You can also just drag your finger and the map will move - very easy to use. I just picked it up and started using it.

These are very small and have North America preloaded and you can get updates when you want them.

Good Luck.

Garmin Nuvi is the suited -much greater smart than the nav structures that are available in new autos. in case you have an iPhone, there are a number of good nav apps, which consists of one from Garmin, that are good. Apple will launch iOS6 in the autumn which will contain a sparkling mapping app that consists of component-to-component voice navigation. businesses alongside with Garmin could be very afraid.

Here is a nice one. Garmin nuvi. It's widescreen touchscreen, which is very nice. The interface is simple, and it does look very flashy!
