My pug is 9 months old. She is housebroken, and pees about 3-5 times a day. Well, lately, she is not drinking that much, but she has been peeing about 12 times a day. She has even started peeing in random places of the house...even just a few drops. I'm just concerned because its not like her. Does anyone know what this might be? Like i said, it wouldnt be as strange if she was drinking a lot of water, but shes barely drinking! Also, the vet called this morning and said she has hook worms and whip worms...would this be a cause for the pee? We took her to the vet and shes gonna stay there for a few nights so they can medicate her for the worms.

If anyone could advise me on the pee thing that would be great. Thanks in advance. Have a blessed day.

It probably has to do with the worms! Once treated by the vet I bet your dog will be alot better!

The worms are probably unrelated to the peeing but you should discuss it with the vet. A urinary tract infection is a possibility. Since she's under a vet's care they should check for that. Inappropriate urination is a classic symptom.

Could have a UT infection...I would ask the vet to check. There is a chance with more output than intake-dehydration could set in.

Most likely a urinary tract or bladder infection. It is easily treated with antibiotics.
