Police are investigating an incident that took place Friday at Homestead-Miami Speedway involving NASCAR driver Kasey Kahne.
A spokesman for Kahne said the Nextel Cup star was rushing to his motorhome in a secure lot at the track following Friday's final practice when he was stopped by the guard, who refused to let Kahne through the entrance without a credential.
Kahne, who was still in his driving uniform, attempted to walk around the guard. According to the spokesman, the two bumped and when Kahne turned around the guard was on the ground.
Police were called and Kahne spent several minutes in handcuffs before being released. The security guard was checked and released at the infield medical center.

I am a big Kasey Khane fan and just want to say if kasey knocked down a security guard. Awesome, but the bets are the guard wants money or something. would like to see the guard since kasey is small. why in the world would they even have guards that dont recognize nascar racers in the first place

Apparently Kasey got ticked at a security guard for not giving his brother access to some area at the track and ended up pushing the guy on the ground or something. I can understand why, b/c security guards are real tools most of the time.

Yeah, my jaw dropped once I observed that article. i'd desire to by no skill image Kasey doing something like that. It would desire to be a huge fake effect. I mean, Kasey Kahne is my renowned driving force, yet he's nearly short, and small. are you able to make certain him roughing up a protection look after lots it sends him to the care midsection?

I basically agree with Sierra's answer, except that I heard during the race commentary it was Kasey Kahne's brother's credentials that were missing. :-)

puleeze is he really that big a guy? I have seen him the guard musta been a holdover from munchkin land to have been hurt ib a brush by attack from killer khane...lol

The media has blown it out of context--Sounds like The Guard is trying to get exposure so he can get a Lawsuit going!!!!!
