Atenolol With Immunotherapy And Allergy Testing?

im suppose to get allergy testing next week im 21 m im on 200mg a day of atenolol for extra beats...ive read online that if you are on beta blockers you shouldnt get allergy testing..and also i might possibly want to try immunotherapy and that also if your on beta blockers you shouldnt get it..well my allergy test is next week the dr knows im on atenolol..should i be concerned?

If you are on beta blockers, your allergist may advise you to consult with your primary care physician about changing the existing medication before you begin treatment for allergies. But you shouldn't discontinue the beta blockers on your own; only do so under your doctor's supervision.
