i tend to dissagree....for example, visit your local park, take plastic carrier bag, place in pond, wait 5 minutes...bag should now be full of crabs and frogs.
take said bag and contents home, cook , then eat.......tadaaaaaaaa..... one free meal,,,

The same logic can also be applied to ...Pigeons in a plaza ,Squrrels up a drain pipe, if your australian....kangarooos......but for these animals you must have a spring in your step in order to catch them.... What other meals can you get for free?> I urge u to thinbk long and hard b4 answering this question....put your feet up , have a think ..Sarcastic comments are not welcome on this post....
No points to the best answer......:-)

LOL! I really mean it. That's the first time I've ever typed "lol." I've done it twice! I feel like a conformist now. lol! rotfl!

If you really wanted to be cheap, you could re-consume your own fecal matter. I'm not sure about the nutritional value of this.

Grab free samples at the grocery store as often as possible.

In college, you can go to all sorts of meetings just for the free pizza.

Dig through garbages.

Buy something at a fast-food joint, rip it into shreds, and then ask for your money back (although this does require that you have some cash to begin with).

Lick your friend's sandwich or cover it in some other bodily substance so that (s)he will not want to eat it. Did this in middle school when I forgot my lunch and no one would give me anything.

**vegetarian:

Raid the farmer's crops.

Raid your neighbor's vegetable garden.

Be stealthy! Stealthy=wealthy=healthy

: ) haha *drying off tears*

Only when there is a hair in your food and they give you another one on the house. Wait. That doesn't work. The restaurant still has to pay for that meal....Okay, how about going into a garden and eating the vegetables? No, that doesn't work. How about the labor put into planting and taking care of the garden? Nope, I do not think there is any such thing as a free meal.

The reason there is no such thing as a free meal is because you have to give up something in order to get that meal. While you're out hunting and cooking, you could have been watching your son's football practice, or drinking at the bar, or hiking in the mountains. That's the theory anyway: there is something you could have been doing instead, something you have sacrificed; thus it is not truly "free".

I say there's no such thing as a free meal unless you have a gun and a wild look in your eye, but that's just me.

Road kill springs to mind. Tho you could say the automobile in its infinite loveliness provided said meal. Have gorged myself at funeral buffets, art gallery openings, bar nuts, roadside fruit trees, garden fruit trees, cooked fish from sea and rivers, butter mountains from the EEC. Finished off plates diners have left in pubs, etc. I think the quote was from Mr Bumble in Oliver Twist

I have a neighbour who goes to every stockholder meeting advertised in the newspaper just to get the free eats.

they are still not free. You are destroying your environment and disrupting the ecosystem. You are paying an invisible price that will catch up on you and your future generations.
