Because weddings involve all of the things that little girls love - dressing like a princess, jewelry, lots of flowers, friends around you all dressed in pretty dresses, and a handsome prince. If weddings involved ninjas, swords and fire trucks, little boys would dream about them, too.

I don't know, that is just how it is. Little girls dream of being a princess. Most girls are all about the frilly girly stuff. Most guys just don't care so much about that stuff. They dream about the wedding night. My fiance says, just tell me when and where and I will be there.

I think it just really boils down to the difference between men and women. Women make this world pretty- if it was up to men, it would be plain and just what is needed to get by- but if it weer just women- everything would be over the top frilly- so really we just balance each other out.

When it comes to weddings, girls are all about weddings as soon as they know what they are. That is just how we are, many girls have their wedding planned by the time they are 15, the groom is just the last piece to the puzzle. But I really don't know why- that is just how we are- we just like to dream about pretty, princessy stuff.

I am just keeping mine simple and inexpensive. I want something nice, but I don't want to pay for it for the next 20 years. My ring is paid for- I have his on a layaway plan so that It will be paid for when I get it. I make the last payment on my dress in two weeks and then I go pick it up and get the alterations taken care of.when all is said and done we will not spend more than $1000 on the whole wedding (jewlery excluded). It will be nice and simple. It is not so much about the wedding as it is about the marriage.

I have never dreamt about my wedding- honestly if I ever do get married I probably will have a wedding in a dress I will wear again and 25 people there- I am not into the whole commercialized wedding scene. I think if people focused more on after the wedding then the magic of the wedding then there wouldn't be as many divorces. I think a lot of people just want to get married to have a wedding and the fairy tale romance. People need to wake up.

I think its because it is the closest thing they can get to being like "Cinderella".
My niece (age 6) adores the Disney princesses and is so thrilled that she is going to attend a wedding (mine).
I was very much a tom-boy and didn't dream about my wedding. I didn't give it much thought until I found the man of my dreams :)

Because their parents feed them fantasies and crap like that. Plus they want all those Disney movies. Though, not all little girls dream about their wedding day. I've always cared more about good careers than fantasies.

Because the majority of American girls have been raised to desire being a princess.

A wedding is the closest thing to give an American girl a chance to feel like one.

That's when you here this, "I have the perfect wedding. I just need the perfect man!"

And sometimes getting married once isn't enough.

Scary huh?

I have never dreamed about my wedding. Which is probably why the planning is going so well, I don't have an unrealistic idea of what it should be, I am happy just getting married.

Mostly because they've been socialized to do so...

However not all little girls dream about their wedding day - I didn't. I didn't even think about my wedding day until I found the man I wanted to spend my life with.

Weddings are more of a girl event. The dress is always a big deal and colors and flowers....its just things that girls are naturally interested in and boys are not. My fiance's outlook on our wedding is tell when and where I need to show up. See what I mean. Its not that they aren't excited they just don't care about flowers and decorations. Food is their main concern

in my opinion, I see purple flags in each and every single place. If he loves then you definately he won't see your goals as "little lady" goals nor might he have mentioned it. in case you have "reported it some situations" he must be getting the experience that that is significant to you as a manner to tell you "it is not enormous deal," and so on shows a real loss of worrying or attention. after all that's the very LEAST he ought to do when you helped him stay interior the country! Sorry to could say this yet i think of he's utilising you. i do no longer condone my father's movements of commiting adultery then leaving my mom and that i interior the lurch - regardless of the shown fact that the factor is he have been given into the comparable situation. Married a woman from a different united states of america who claimed to love him. After she grew to become a citizen she racked up all his credit enjoying cards, took him to the cleaners financially and then divorced him. it is particularly useful to step returned and somewhat inspect your situation.
