I am 17andI have a dodge 02 2500 diesel with 70,000 miles what do you think are cummins better than chevys?

stay with the dodge,you take care of it ,and it will outlast the duramax by hundreds of thousands of miles.seriously. i am unaware of any million mile clubs for duramax,or powerstroke for that matter.but there are several for the cummins.also the cummins is far easier to upgrade for more power ( and usually cheaper) than both chevy and ford.also the duramax is built by isuzu,and isuzu diesels are problem prone. the large ( 900 series ) trucks in the military all run cummins diesels,and 90% of them still have the original engine

If your want a newer diesel get the dodge as the Chevy is not as good on fuel mileage>Your 02 is the 12 valve there are many upgrades to improve HP look on dodge diesel forum .com>

I have inspected several hundred car's and truck's for lemon law firms customers and found the Dodge Diesel is by far better than most other truck, GM is second and Ford is at the bottom. Stay with the Dodge but GM is very close behind in reliability. God Bless

stay with the dodge you have a really good truck the cummins engines are better than the ford or the Chevy is right now,you got the best of the best right there,good luck.

Thats almost like asking if you should drill a hole in your head to see whats inside.The Cummins is all american with a legendary status verses the Chevy which is really an Isuzu.
