It becomes insane to search online multi thousands of sites then another search for the item???

there is but i prefer one website the most and it is
www.allrecipes.com
They even have an ingredient search which is wonderful and answers the question.What can I have with ingredients I have in my kitchen?

Well I wouldnt even have time to look on a cd..
But I DO have a site that I love for recipie searches.
It is like GOOGLE for recipies.. It searches recipiezaar, allrecipies, food network , etc.... for you and displays the results... instead of going to all the individual sites.
also you can look up a recipie by, ingredients, cuisine, or famous TV chef!!

Mastercook is on CD (I think you can get it at Amazon.com). You can search thousands of recipes on the CD as well as import/export recipes.

I don't know about CDs but if you're looking for recipe's that can be watched and listened to online, then I advise the following site as it has video clips and I've found them extremely useful.
