Tell them these:-
1. U wanted to explore other working enviroments besides working in a college. Though u love working there, u need to give yourself a chance to see if working in a college enviroment is your call in life,,,,That's why u are applying for a job in college again cause that's the place u really wanna be,,,
Since u already realised that u love working in a college,,,u should have no problem continuing from there,,,,,,,
Best of luck,,,,just tell what is in your heart,,,,that's what i normally look for when I interview ppl,,,An experience interviewer can see thru lies,,,

If you can specify the working conditions at the small private college that made it uncomfortable for you, do so in an honest, matter-of-fact way. Choose only three or four solid ones - you need more than one or two (unless they were extremely bad) to justify a move, but you don't want to come across as a nit-picker by listing a lot of minor ones. Put yourself in your prospective employer's shoes - would the complaints strike you as reasonable?
If you can come up with other honest reasons for seeking a change in employer - career advancement, better match between yourself and your working environment, finish up with these, because it is usually the last items in a list, especially if they're positive, that people will remember and focus on.

As long as you're diplomatic about it, you can "bash" your previous company. Just choose your words carefully. Just say something like "it wasn't a good fit for me" or "it didn't provide the kind of working conditions that allowed me to perform effectively." They won't hold it against you if there were conditions at your last job that were not acceptable to you. Just speak in professional terms so it doesn't sound like you're just a whiner or a griper.

The best way to answer the question is honestly. Explain that you found the working conditions bad and decided it was not worth putting up with the stress.

Just tell them the truth will a little sugar coating. It is not lying. It is called bending the truth. If you tell them you got fired, (which you didn't it seems like), at least you have the guts to tell them. It's all a matter of personal integrity.

Just say you wanted a more challenging position, more responsibility. Something along those lines. You weren't using all your talents.
