individually I hate the hen topic for a kitchen, nicely truthfully i'm no longer keen on it for everywhere. My kitchen is my widespread room interior the living house. I did the partitions in a mild sunny yellow and a lime green (interior the same shade because of the fact the yellow went to the paint strips and picked the golf green and yellow i like that became the same point) then I used those 2 colorations as nicely as orange for accents.

I think that theme would be based on simplicity
maybe a granite counter top, and just plain wood

this may help reference to red/black/gold and many natural substances ie bamboo.
Red glossy cupboards, black granite work tops with a hob containing a wok burner..... storage and minimalist.
paint walls using white and add japanese lettering or prints.
bamboo grown on the windowsill.....wooden or paper blinds, screening etc
