I was contacted this morning by an automated phone call saying I would receive 2 free bording passes for an "all-inclusive cruise to Nassau, Bahamas" just for answering a 10 question survey. It also said all entertainment and food would be included. It said they did not need any credit card or bank information. It said they only needed the name I would want on my bording pass. I took the survery. I actually talked to a real person afterwards, I asked her what the catch was, she informed me there was no catch. All they needed was my name and a phone number for a representative to call me within 72 hours to get the name I wanted on my bording passes. I gave her a made up name and my cell number. I am just interested in seeing if I receive another phone call. Where else can I find out info on checking if this is another holiday scam???? HELP ME FIGURE THIS ONE OUT!!!!

I predict that you will get another phone call, and you will get offered your cruise as a thank-you for attending,

a) a short presentation
b) buying something to-day because the offer is closing
c) something else that requires you to visit a site in the Bahamas

Anyway, you get nothing for nothing, your question is, can you put up with whatever you have to do to get your free cruise without spending a fortune on something you don't really want?

YES ITS A SCAM--You will have to pay for port charges and a bunch of other stuff. The ship--I've seen it in Nassau-- is a floating wreck. There is enough cheap cruises to the Bahamas where you don't have to risk your life on a tub like this! How much fun would you have have anyway if you are worried all the time?

This is the most common means of getting people to go to high pressure time share sales. However the incentives are legit. I received a free week in Florida at a major resort, but I had to set one day aside to listen to their pitch. They are extremely high pressure so you need to be able to say no or you will end up owning a week somewhere in the world.
