Does anyone think humanity would be safer if polar bears did sink in the melted polar ice caps? I just can't come up with a downside.

Um, polar bears kill people, that's why they're dangerous to humans.

I disagree; where would we get those amazingly warm and comfortable polar bear rugs from?

Without polar bears the seal population of the North would rise greatly. Then the area that the seals live in would reach its carry capacity and the seals would start dying out. When the seals die out other populations would rise greatly and you would have a disaster. You see the world is a very balanced place. The Earth has gone through climate change before and polar bears are still here right.

What do you mean by safer??? Polar bears are beautiful animals!! They are already an endangered species, why would we be better off without them? Obviously, you have no appreciation for animals. Also, did you know that all polar bears are left handed? just a bit of trivia for you as you seem so ignorant

I think that we the humans are the problems not the animals including the polar bears because we are the ones causing this to happen, global warming.

Polar Bears are part of nature. They help keep certain species in check because they are predators. They play the same role as lions in Africa and wolves in the US. They may be dangerous to humans but they are still needed in the cycle.

That is so mean. Polar Bears have just as much of a right to be here on earth as you do. I do not understand people that hate any type of animal.

I'm with you lefty. Lets all agree to ignore the fact that polar bear numbers are increasing. This way we can all get together and bemoan their upcoming extinction. Also, the (fictitious)decreasing number of polar bears helps prove the theory of global warming. Hooray for us!!!
Now lets all join in in a group hug.

Seriously, if anything dangerous should be killed off it should be humans. The world would be great without us and those poor polar bears wouldn't be sinking.
