They use the two gas aka ninety 8 octane Sunoco 260 GTX or Ether in an aerosol can that's loopy. maximum group's have a sparkling fish tank like tubing protruding of the canopy. the different end is going to the waft bowl vent on the precise of the Holley Carburetor. they have a plastic Ketchup sorta form bottle that they fill with gasoline. Then the group member sticks the pointy cap of the bottle into the the hose, on the canopy, and provides the bottle a squeeze forcing liquid gasoline into the tube which fill's up the waft bowl of the carburetor. Then the driving force purely pumps the gasoline pedal which squirts gasoline into the engine. as quickly as that's fired up, the gasoline pump is pumping and your back in company. communities that use ether, spray it from an aerosol can into the air intake , on the canopy, hoping it makes that's way for the duration of the air clear out into the engine. as quickly because it fires up, the gasoline pump - pumps some gasoline earlier it dies returned. they many times might desire to do it a pair circumstances until eventually the gasoline pump - pumps adequate to fill the waft bowl with gas. Ether is quite flammable and unsafe and can injury an engine.

It was during the BUSCH race. Don't remember who's crew it was but the jack man was getting ready to come on the right side of the car when another car was getting ready to pit also. The guy with jack in hand jump between both cars. They had to be about less than a foot apart. He would've been clipped. Those guys earn their money

A number of years ago, long before there was a speed limit on pit road...and all the drivers came in at full speed & took off the same way, I got to see Ricky Rudd hit and kill a crew member at Atlanta Motor Speedway. I wouldn't have wanted to see it on film; sure as heck didn't want to see it in person; and would sure like to find a way to forget it.
Like Carrie states so intelligently...it would really hurt...

Yeah, I saw it live on ESPN2 during the Busch race Saturday evening. You can check espn.com or just wait a day or two and it'll probably show up on youtube.
