Chapter 1, specifically the text surrounding the verses you question are not about the end time...they refer to all time. Paul is merely showing the depravity of man, God's displeasure with that, and therefore man's need for the righteousness that only God can provide. Paul is also pointing out that we are all sinners and all in need of salvation. The focus of those verses is not homosexuality, but sin in general.

One of the main themes of Romans: we are ALL sinners.......

Homosexuality has been found in all cultures for thousands of years...even before Christ.

Plagues have also been around since the begining of recorded ancient history right until now.

These are not reliable indicators of the end of time.

Not seeing the relation to end times in these verses.
Don't forget the other sins God has given sinners over to.
fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful
Notice that debate is included. The word translated debate here literally means to cause contention or strife. Proud, boasters and unmerciful is also included in this list of sins. But this next verse is the important part.

Look at Jesuss example. The men that He was harsh with were the religious leaders. The men who were already following God or claimed to should know better. He forgave prostitutes and thieves. Who are we to judge others sins. Instead we should follow Christs example and show love.

Homosexuality was around in the OT era. Remember Sodom and Gomorrah? The very name Sodom is the word from which we get the term "sodomy". Time hasn't ended yet, so these things you mentioned aren't related to the end of time itself. It's the INCREASING PREVALENCE of these things in our society that are a small part of the signs of the times.

Well it might be but the scientists have made a lot of headway's on the AIDS situation and the pharmaceutical companies really don't want a curer until they have made a mint out of the drugs that only subdue the causation.

I think we are on the right track otherwise God would start throwing rocks at this planet earth like another meteor direct hit.

There are thousands of doctrines and disagreements that surround the bible. This is the case because it is unclear and contradictory.

It really isn't worth our time, arguing over baptism via immersion vs. sprinkling, at the expense of learning tangible evidence in science that can support new technology and human progress.

It is a shame, the human brain power that has been wasted over doctrine in the last 2000 years.

He seems to be talking in the past and present tense in that entire chapter. His letter is not about the end times, but rather the nature of man - past, present, and future.

I would've thought the Bubonic plague more than anything would've bought the end of the world.

Yep, I've read it. And it said nothing about Acquired Immuno Deficiency Syndrome...

But then, it doesn't say much about anything today. It also says nothing about the mutation which increases AIDS resistance. Clearly, evolution is again our savior, when God has other plans.
