why are there preachers, churches, Sunday school, Bible classes, etc.?

Preachers, churches, Sunday school, bible classes, etc. exist to nurture Christians. Christians attend classes/school to not only learn and apply the biblical teachings, but to also fellowship with other believers. Churches are a sanctuary for us; we praise, worship, fellowship, learn, commune, do soup kitchen feedings, take offerings for needy members, make charity baskets, have homeless sleepovers....
As individual Christians, we can do all the above in solitude as well, but when we come together, we feed off each other, renew our strenghth, and do wonders! Those that claim themselves to be Christians demonstrate it everyday, without prejudice, ignorance, or haughtiness, that's the evidence and truth of a Christian, to follow in Christ steps always, beyond church, Sunday school, etc.

Some believe that organized religion is what Christianity is all about. Religion is a personal relationship with God, in my opinion. It has become very commercialized and I'm sure that Jesus would turn the tables over with anger in today's churches too.

Preachers: Men designated by God to lead his flock
churches: The church is the people, not a building. but for your example as far as the building is concerned, its a place to meet to worship and fellowship
Sunday school and bible classes are almost the same thing. they both are used to get in depth into the word of God.

thats a cheap question! the only thng i can tell u is that u never felt jesus live in your heart! if jesus wasnt true and just a story christianity would disapear a long time ago! u probably heard of all the making fun of christians in the past and the only thing that gave them stregth to go on was jesus! and plus we christians will meet again in heaven after we die so thats another reason to worship god - heaven! to tell u the truth i cant tell all of the reasons why we worship god! not in this answer, if i do write all the reasons u will be tired of reading them!! so god bless! so what do u believe in??

Because those clear and obvious truths require "interpretation." And it's better to tell people how to interpret them, rather than leaving them to decide on their own.
Who knows where things would go if everyone read the Bible and made up their own opinions on it!

If it was so evident and clear, why would there be so many denominations, each with their own interpretation of the Bible? The whole thing just gets more and more confusing.
