whats the cheapest unleaded at the pumps ,which suppermarkets ,this is all getting out of hand , ? i live in 1066 country in the south east

I live in Wrexham NWales and in Asda it is 96.9p per litre for unleaded and 98.9p for diesel.

Even here in Liverpool it is just below £1 per litre I dont'know what it is in the Hastings area but I suspect it has already topped the £1 level
HMG will do nothing about it because the more expensive fuel is the more tax they rake in. The oil companies say they do not make much profit out of it and this rings true because it is a bye product (used to be called a waste product) It is what is left over after the main products have ben extracted on which the Companies make their profit

When I first came to this country a gallon of Super would cost 42 pence. That was the year the pound went decimal and UK petrol was practically the cheapest in Europe.
Now in Devon the best I can do is 101.9 per litre

In Glasgow, I filled up yesterday at a Morrisons supermarket for 98.9p/litre. I guess it's better in a big city as there's more competition, but it's still a ridiculous price, even if tax does account for 65p/litre of it.

i live in C.T and the prices here are higher than most states around.the cheapest I've seen today is 3.17 a gal for the cheap stuff.but C.T. is one of if not the most expensive state in this country to live in.the cost of living here sucks.what is 1066?never heard of it.
