I have been diagnosed with a pinched nerve in my back before. I had to have physical therapy and all because of a hereditary natural overcurvature in my spine that weakens it.

Recently, I have had a lot of back problems. It gets to the point where I can't sit and I stand leaning to one side. When I pick up my right leg my hip pops and I can feel and hear it.

I have been going to chiropractor and massage therapist for it, but I'm still having a lot of problems and my medical insurance does not cover them.

I'm only 23. Young to have such back problems, I know. Should I go see my medical doctor again? It seems like the only thing they do is give me flexeril and prescription pain meds. They don't actually help get better just manage the pain.

you definitely need to go see a doctor. Back injuries and problems are not something to take lightly.

You could have more than just a pinched nerve; however, pinched nerves alone can cause you more pain than one might think.

Consult your medical doctor. Your massage therapist or chiropractor may be doing more harm than good.

OK what happens is that when we are in pain we really do not want to move or exercise. Therefore what Muscle Tone we have, we loose. Hence the saying 'use it or loose it'. In order to keep your spine straight, as in upright, so you do not fall to the left or right like I used to, you need to strengthen those back muscles. Therefore see if you can get the PT to send you to Pilate's. Once at Pilate's tell the instructor what the problem is. Their will be certain exercises that will help you and others you should not try. It is not easy, did it myself, nearly threw the towel in, but after all these years I am now able to support my upper body, sit without a back rest let alone stand without having to learn on a wall.

Dear Jess, I desire there used to be an convenient reply to those disorders. Money and the way it's dealt with has a tendency to be a foremost dilemma in each Christian and non-Christian marriages. St. Paul reminds us in Ephesians five:21 that we're to publish ourselves to at least one one more within the worry of God. This is of path simpler stated than performed. In my marriage, it has taken five years to plot a method that works for us and maintains cash disagreements to a minimal. I needed to provide somewhat (I'm the saver) and she or he needed to provide somewhat (she's the spender). Though our method isn't ultimate, whilst 2 men and women are inclined to paintings in combination there's desire. It is principal that BOTH of you arise with a plan for saving, spending, giving, and many others. that you just each trust. Marriages prevail whilst the 2 of you're ready to ask for forgiveness and forgive one one more. Then you'll paintings at the difficulty and now not each and every different! If you could have challenge operating a plan that you just each agree on, search your pastor's recommendation, a fiscal counselor's recommendation, or ship me an electronic mail with a few extra specifics and I'll be comfortable to take a look at to aid. In Christ Jesus, gloria-dei

I'm not a doctor who could advice you on this, but when I'd back problem before, somebody advised me to sleep on a flat bed minus the mattress. It did help to ease the pain.
