Isn't it interesting that...........you do not believe in God, yet...you believe in my imprecatory prayers....
Come on Christians, pray for God's cursing be upon them......turn the table as Christ did twice upon those wicked men who defile the Temple......................
2Th 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
2Th 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
2Th 2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
May God curse you all atheists and evolutionists. But then, since you do not believe in God, surely you would not believe in my invoking such a prayer?? Aha, secretly deep down in the labyrinth of that deprave heart, there is a stirring..............

Problem with Christianity is that, many professing Christians think that God is an all loving Santa Claus................
have you not known the same OT God, whom the Israelites prayed...
Psa 137:8 O daughter of Babylon, who art to be destroyed; happy shall he be, that rewardeth thee as thou hast served us.
Psa 137:9 Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones.
whom David prayed

Most folks quotes John 3:16 bu they forgot there chapter goes on
Joh 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.
Joh 3:18 He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

rwdforever> You said God doesn't exist....So why should you be seeing anyone in hell... sounds like you believe in hell to me. Sound like you just condemned yourself to hell.

Apparently you skipped the lessons in "compassion". You have no idea why each "atheist" does not believe in God, but I'll bet at least half of them are angry with God about something pretty horrible.
By the way, it is clear that the creation story in The Bible was not intended as a How-To-Do-It manual for creating a brand new universe, but rather is a quick explanation to Man about who God is and why Man is where he is and what he needs to do to get along with God. Creation was God's business, so why are people so hung up about the details? It is arrogance on the part of Creationists that they reject scientific information based on a belief that they were entitled to a full explanation of The Creation. I can understand (perhaps) believing that it is blasphemous look too closely at God's work, but it awfully God-like to believe that you know what actually went on based on the limited understanding that can be transmitted by a human language to a human brain.

I didn't think God does curses, but fear not, you are in good company:
'If anyone does not love the Lord - a curse be upon him.'
II Corinthians I:22
St Paul doesn't inspire me either.
I wouldn't follow any religion that adopted that kind of stance to those who didn't believe. You've only got to look into recent history and even in some places today to see where that leads.
Peace, and hope that you will change your heart, and understand the meaning of the word, 'tolerance'. Because without it we are all cursed, whoever we are and whatever we believe.

Why would a person truly believing in god curse anyone? Wouldn't a believer feel that everyone is a child of God.. then why for the love of God would you curse a gods child - irrespective of the person being a believer or not?

Here is the love and beauty of religion for you.
How dare we atheists believe in things that make sense!
While you are damning us, don't forget those who believe that the Earth travels around the Sun. Because that is heretical too.
Believers, quit being pig-headed, hateful and ignorant. You believe in magic. Magic is silly and has ZERO evidence for existence.
And, yes your prayer scares me, because you sound like you are ready to be the instrument of "God's" justice; just like the people of 9/11.

Many believe in God but do not do his will. Proverbs 12: 22 states that he hates those who don't keep their words, he delights in those who do. What you have is a crowd of water downed Christians willing to sway from left to right.

you often love the thing you hate. i sense some latency here. perhaps you admire the freedom of fear of death and the fact that atheists do not need morality enforced upon them. go on don't be scared, cast off that yoke and burden of superstition; feel the freedom of only being responsible for your own actions. if you have a problem with that, see a therapist to help you work out your inner conflict.

Who says we all believe in your imprecatory prayers? That's a broad assumption aimed at everyone and it is also false.
But as they say " Opinions are like anuses everyone has one, but no one wants to hear from yours". By the way isn't it wrong to ask your God to do bad things to people?

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door.

Sigh...it is dudes like you who give Christians a bad name.
Grow up and stop hating people...doesn't God call for you to love your Brother? Even when he stumbles? Maybe you should be dreaming up ways to help people instead of trying to heap curses upon them...

And The Pope said to the atheist, "In God's Name I do swear, I see you searching in the dark for something that ain't there!"
The atheist said to The Pope, "There ain't no getting 'round it, you too were searching in the dark for Nothing - but you found it!"
Faith, superstition or psychological need for a supernatural 'Daddy'? It's a very fine line, isn't it?
