There is certainly no single USA city worse then Beijing. Mexico City comes close, but can't beat Beijing. Beijing is one of the dirtiest places on earth. It gets only beaten by other Chinese cities like Wuhan and Chongqing.

Beijing can be clear on good days, but on bad days visibility can be below 50m. From my 15th floor hotel room I was not able to see the traffic downstairs on bad days.

If you want to go, make all precautions and do not rely on medical emergency help in China. Without cash you will even not get into a hospital.

Bro, if you're asthma is serious, I wouldn't risk going to Beijing. The pollution there is terrible, no joke. I don't have any health problems, and even I was always getting sick with bronchitis and stuff.

It's a shame though, because Beijing is a really cool city.

I wouldn't got to an overpopulated foreign city with asthma. What if you have an attack and no one can understand you to help you?
