Dilaudid (hydromorphone) 2mg tablets what are those compared to percocet or vicodin. Also what are the 2mgs tablets compared to the injections you get at the hospital. just curious.

The 2 mg tablets of Dilaudid (another name for Morphine) is stronger than the Percocet or Vicodin.

The difference between the 2 mg tablets vs the injections in the hospital is that when you take the tablets the medicine has to work to get thru the whole bloodstream to try and control the pain.

Whereas with the injection it is injected in to the muscle area (such as the arm as an example) where it can get in to the system faster than a tablet can.

I would also recommend checking with your pharmacist to see what they say.
