It seems like ALL humanity does nowadays is spend money, work, have agendas, bicker with each other, spend their whole lives pursuing material things, sex, being conniving, lying, backstabbing, annoying, negative to a degree, lost (meaning they're not working towards any noble or God's will, but rather their own), and most importantly without God?
Now, even if you don't BELIEVE in God, which is VERY easy in this world, believe me lol, I know, you have to admit that humanity is going about life wrong. Yes this is a generalization, and yes there are some awesome people out there, but in large, the majority is flawed, the system is flawed, the way we go about this life is flawed, and we've generally managed to somehow screw this life up.
Is it just me who sees this? I mean, I really hope I get some answers which agree with what I'm saying, because I just don't see how anyone over the age of lets say 26, where I am now, and with a brain who went through SOME life experience cant see.

I just saw this video of this Dean at a college overreacting and smacking this student's camera. They now are making it into this huge lawsuit. The Dean had her own agendas and acted in ways which were self-centered and ultimately godless , and the student was there with HIS own agenda, and the way he's going about it, though legal and right is ultimately just self-serving and Godless.
Argue me if you want, but what I'm trying to say is that, these two human beings COULD have been spending their lives for more noble pursuits. I mean we have kids starving across the globe. Instead, since they probably DO NOT have the knowledge of God on their sides, they're spending their existance bickering and furthering their own agendas.
The news media, a business organization just reports their actions, and ultimately to me, someone OF God, sees this and laughs thinking, my god what a bunch of morons.
IF ONLY they followed God, or had God in their lives )who most people dont believe in.)

Okay I don't need insults, and I'm not too good for this world I'm just trying to BETTER myself than what I see out there.
I don't think that's a half bad pursuit, my friend.

Ok LET me add some comments here before I get grouped as being "one of those Christians," or if my diatribe, lol, seems somehow political.
1) I'm not a typical Christian, I'm just "some guy" who did some research on all of this God stuff, and came to my own conclusions,
and 2) I wasn't TAUGHT anything, I TAUGHT myself.
I'm not a sheep.

I'm not a sheep, either. I do my own thinking, but I also believe the Word of God. I can say this because I've tested it over many years and I've found that what it says in there lines up with my experience and assessment of life.
It wasn't always like that, because I was programmed by the Charismatic movement and was 'heavy shepherded' to look at everything positively. Oh, yes, they taught me, the Church was going to take over the world. I had to 'get real', because this doctrine was at odds with the Word and what the Spirit was telling me, and I knew which one I believed.
So, me and the Ch. movement parted, and, in time, I have left every church organisation I have been in, because they're all building their own little empires at the expense of the sheep and the sheep don't care, so long as they've got something to do on Sunday which doesn't involve too much thinking. Sorry, but that's the way I see it. The last straw was an Evangelical Church, where the pastor was literally controlling everybody and doing a 'one man band act'. I made the 'mistake' telling him so (well, he did ask!) and thereafter my name was mud and he couldn't wait to get me out of there in case my 'bad attitude' was catching.
Don't get me wrong, I love the Church, but the trouble is, it's difficult to find it nowadays, because everybody wants to follow someone, instead of following the Lord Jesus alone.
My opinion is that things are indeed getting worse and worse, as Scripture says, because we are living in the last of the Last Days, in the time immediately before the coming of Christ for his Church (see the letter to Philadelphia, Rev.3). Everything is conforming to the picture Scripture gives us, and thereby we know that the time is not long. So, we lift up our heads!
It is not a matter of being pessimistic, or even optimistic, it is a matter of being realistic, with your mind trained by the Word of God, for HIS viewpoint is, in the end, the only true one and the one that matters. I have to say that, since I left the Church System and came completely out (we meet in our home now) I have NEVER been so completely happy and free and joyful in the Lord - and that's IN SPITE of my opinions on the world and where it's going.
I hope that one day soon you will find true positivity through what the Lord reveals to you in his word, as he leads you and the joy of HIS life begins to permeate everything in you.

Being lost, negative, or poor trancends boundaries, yes. I do not believe everyone is that way though. As the saying goes though one bad apple makes the barrel go sour. I do believe a lot of it has to do with our society and culture, but I have surprisingly learned that it is also regional. I went from a proverty, immoral neighborhood in Georgia to one in North Dakota, and *lol* you would not believe the differance, but I also suspect a lot of it has to do with tolerance. If people are willing to be more tolerant, than others do not stike back as they would otherwise, because what the he77 do they have to strike at. Also people are frazzled and stressed to the max, and that does not give them time to contemplate their actions as they would otherwise or stop and take a second to think 'oh, I might not want to do that,' you see. I also doubt that people question God less no than they had in the past. I mean so many cultures worshipped their own cultural beliefs and they are wiped out of existance now. There were those that did not believe in the gods, goddesses, or God. There were those who were willling to not deny their existance, but who would not be surprised that any higher form of intelligence existed. All in all, not to much has changed in my opinion other than we have technology and have learned a lot more about ourselves. We got screwed in the begining when man listened to woman and ate the fruit so I say its the same as it ever was we've just evolved since than. Oh, and I'm 27 so I beat your age level by 1 year so this answer Qualifies. Yeah!!!!!!

Fear, anxiety and stress controls society, because they choose to follow man and not God.
We are not to sue our brother. We are to love our brother and we are our brother's keeper.
Without a clear goal or purpose in life, man gets all tied up in the nonsense of life. We weary ourselves with TV or movies, when a nice relaxing nap would benefit us more. Or a nice walk in the park or walk in the neighborhood. We can't live without a phone in our ear and they are the greatest stressor known to man. Put down the phone, because there is nothing wrong with missing a call. Most of your conversations are not important anyway.
Stop the lies - one lie at a time.
If man only knew that waiting for sex until marriage is the only great sex in the world.
Man is self-destructing, because he refuses to obey God. Sickness is nothing but sin whether sin of self or ancestral sin.
We have more medicine than any other nation and we have more illnesses. Depression runs rapidly throughout society.
Without God, we are nothing.

I agree that there's a lot of screwed up attitudes and actions in this world today. However, I DO NOT think religion is the answer. I think religion may be part of what is holding us back. One main consequence of religion is a great "us them" attitude that separates people and causes prejudice, hatred and non acceptance. It is just another tool used to promote self (and one's own group)over other's.

Its not just you. It is most Christians.
You have been taught to expect the worst out of the world, so go out of your way to support that belief.
Christian doctrine claims that the earth is going to degrade morally and increase in disasters, as we get closer to the return of Jesus. It claims that the world will be very Chaotic and will require the destruction of most of mankind in order to start over.
Islam predicts a similar ending, both create a very high level of pessimism amongst their followers. Christians and Muslims are constantly finding the bad around them and ignoring the good. It is easy to look at the news today and assume that the world is going to hell and a handbasket. But that is only because we are being fed the traumatic and not the beneficial things human kind is doing.
The news is geared towards blood because that is what a majority of humans in the US want to see. We say we don't but in a free market economy, you get what you want.
It is my belief that the Christian religion causes this need for doomsday programming, because every bad story supports the end times teachings and prophesy.
That is why religious indoctrination is very dangerous.

I think you have it backwards...the minority is flawed and the majority is awesome..there truely is good in this world..just look around you with a positive spin instead of a negative one and you will see that. We as a people love our fellow humans..and I believe that we all have and will continue to help in any way possible to make those whose lives are less than ours, better. I am 51 years old and have seen alot of things that I can't believe and just when you think "hey where is God"..someone does something to restore my faith in humanity and reassures me that HE is watching out for us.

i think of it rather is thoroughly pathetic. The notice faith can recommend something rather, it rather is actual. however the fault isn't with any devil except they recommend the adversary that's the minds and hearts of mankind. The Watchtower has not been a powerful effect in numerous approaches, it form of feels. i'd think of their considerable purpose replaced into to discredit each physique else and so go away the sector sparkling for themselves. those issues rebound. a greater useful expertise of the Biblical checklist on their section would probable have prevented them making such prevocative statements.

Well, I'm a scientist, and I know a lot of other scientists who are very dedicated to their work, don't make a lot of money, don't spend what they get except for necessities, cooperate well with others in their work, and are committed to the future of the world and humanity. Most are atheists, some are not.

Sorry your life sucks.
Mine is just fine witout your god. Without any, actually.
Perhaps I'm not ready to give up on this world yet, because I see lots of wonderful things. I don't sit in my house and lament that the world is going to Hell. I actually get out and have fun and see the rest of the world...

I agree that people are far too materialistic and that society is flawed. I do not at all agree that this has a correlation with "godlessness." The atheists I have met have been, as a whole, far less materialistic than the religious people.
